You might want to consider cutting out the middle of the pad, and leaving just the angle covered. You need to wash the batteries from time to time, and if they spill during charging, you want to give that a place to go.


I hadn’t considered the need to rinse off the batteries. I’ll cut some holes in the mat for drainage. Thanks!

I just kinda mocking thing up now. I’ll have the lugs to make up cables next week, but....In all of the literature, the motor connections refer to F1 & F2. My motor is Marked S1 & S2. My understanding is that A1 & A2 are for the armature and S1 & S2 are for the field. Are S1 and S2 actually F1 & F2? Am I missing something?

Field1 and Field2 are functionally the same as Stator1 and Stator2
