Default Re: Want to change Motor Controller from GE to ALLTRAX

We need to find out for sure if it's a Regen 1 converted to a Regen 2 or if it came new as a Regen 2. What's the vehicle serial number? Is it definitely a 96? Look at the main connector on the controller and follow the wires down to the main harness. Is there an adapter that has the Regen 1 controller connector plugged into it? If it's a converted car, it's not gonna be as simple. The Regen 2 "Conversion" controller is different than the Regen 2 "OEM" controller. If it's the conversion controller then the Regen 2 Alltrax isn't going to be a simple bolt in. Does the car have a tow/run switch?

It has an interconnexion block / adapter.

It doesn't have a tow/run switch.

Regen 1. Yes, you will have to convert it to IQ with a new harness etc to use the Alltrax. Call David directly and he will outline the parts and prices for you to make the change. In the end it will be well worth it but you will have more work to convert that model cart than most.

Joesam is correct. You need a harness. No problem. Easy. Let me know how you wanna proceed and I'll point you in the right direction.
