New-to-me 1997 Club Car Carryall II plus *project*
I picked up a Carryall 2 plus with front mechanical brakes, a cab, and a manual dump bed!
https://photos.app.goo.gl/j7z9bryhhuZFGBnP9 It doesn't run and it came with 2 flat tires. I brought it home in the bed of my pickup truck, and had to change out the rear tires while it was still loaded in the bed. https://photos.app.goo.gl/PWYFiusrTprTHGbe7 Luckily, Mazda Miata spare tires fit well enough to get it unloaded (4x100 vs the 4x101.6 on carts). https://photos.app.goo.gl/gstpLRgtBSim3fJv6 I stopped by the local golf cart refurbisher and scored 4 "looks new to me" stock tires and rims for less than the cost of case of cheap beer! So this situation has been rectified. First question as I start to bring her back to life: Do any of you fine folks know what these unused brackets are on the rear axle? https://photos.app.goo.gl/cvuKGMACx2a47QGi6 https://photos.app.goo.gl/h5uZSr3dozUCK1LG9 |

They're factory. Sway bar / shock brackets.
The rear holes were used on other vehicles with a different suspension setup. |

Thanks for answering my question about the purpose of those extra brackets. It's good to know it's for an alternate application and that nothing is missing.
Tonight I picked up a set of 10" aluminum wheels from a guy who had upgraded, I think they are stock OEM Club Car wheels and I like them. https://photos.app.goo.gl/2rPuLWVsJg1VZAxc6 |

Today I did most of a tune up (I did not adjust the valves). I pulled the fuel tank out and cleaned the chunks out of it, and the bad gas - it was nasty. New parts include: battery, oil, oil filter, air filter, spark plug, diff gear oil, two fuel filters, all fuel lines and a carb rebuild.
I couldn't find any rebuild kits for the little Keihin BBKL carb, so I took mine apart carefully and cleaned it. I ended up having to make one gasket, it wasn't that bad. I got an honest 5 hours of work done on the cart today, not including an hour of parts chasing. |

If yours has the FE350 Kawi motor in it, there probably is no valve adjustment. Mine is a 2001 and has HLA's.
