Battery chargers, aftermarket
Does anyone have a recommendation for a battery charger that can do 12 and 48 volts? I’m going to be storing my carts batteries in my basement entrance. I am thinking of buying a charger that can do 12 and 48 volts. Another option would to run series parallel @ 24v and just get a 24v charger
6-8volts btw Thanks WE Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Not sure that I know of one that does both. Check with scottyb at Carts Unlimited as he handles a lot of chargers.

STANLEY makes such a charger. I have never tried one but they do exist.

Re: Battery chargers, aftermarket
The only one I’ve seen was mega $$$$ for marine use. Don’t remember where but it was a multi-bank charger that could have one bank wired for 12 or 24v starter battteries, and the other 4 banks were able to do 12-48v depending on what setup was needed for house batteries or other electronics.
What do you need both 12 and 48v? |

Re: Battery chargers, aftermarket
Also, why would you want to store them in your basement? Batteries will out-gas when charging and you’ll be releasing sulfur fumes into your house. Sulfur will tarnish or corrode just about anything, especially if it gets in your ventilation system.

It’s not actually in my basement, it is the entrance to my basement. It’s like bumpout that is separated by an exterior door
