Removing starter/governor
having starting problems with new cart, just starting to troubleshoot And haven't had a chance to study it, but have searched everywhere with no luck. How hard is it to pull the starter on a precedent gas cart?? Do you pull it from the back/ front ???
Thanks |

Re: Removing starter/governor
It’s not exactly fun on any cart, but on the precedent you have to go at it from both sides. Once all the bolts are out you should be able to lift it out from under the seat.
To help with some extra room, jack up the rear of the cart so the rear wheels are off the ground and the springs are extended. (Don’t jack it up under the axle) Remember to disconnect the battery negative first. |
