Default Headlights not working

I have a 2007 Club Car DS (gasoline version). The headlights were working last year, but when I started it up this year, they are not working. Everything else is working. I do not have power at the headlight switch. I tried tracing the wire from the switch to its origin. I am thinking it would be easier to run a new wire to the headlight switch. Thoughts? What gauge wire and what size in-line fuse should I use? Thanks in advance. Bill.

If they're factory headlights it may have a fuse in the black box for them. If not look near the battery for an inline holder.

Most of my gas carts I pull power for headlights right from the key switch, but I run fairly low power LEDs.

Are you lights Halogen or LED? If halogen, does it have high and low beams?
Does it have tail lights as well?

The lights are LED. There are head lights and tail lights. I don't see an inline fuse holder in the black box. I ran a wire from a terminal that I verified was +12 volts to each side of the switch, no luck. I ran power directly to one of the head lights and verified that that one was working.

Solved! Super bonehead move on my part. I had not connected the harness to the battery! When I winterized the golf cart last year, I forgot that I had disconnected the harness. At least, I will never repeat this!
