Default 89 Ds no start/ no click

Hey y’all
Picked up an 89 club car DS gasser not running
Key on, can’t get the solenoid to click or starter to spin. What’s the testing procedure for this? How do I go about testing the micro switches and solenoid? Any help is much appreciated!!
Thanks

Turn the key on (make sure the cart is in maintenance mode by flipping the little yellow cam on the back of the shifter) and put a screwdriver across the two big terminals of the solenoid. If it starts running then trace back your wires to see where the fault is. Here's your wiring diagram:

I had this problem with my atv. Before getting too deap try replacing the battery. Or borrowing one from somebody. Most of the time a jump box won’t be enough juice to activate to solenion

in the above diagram is the white wire from the key switch to the neutral lock out switch a hot wire or a ground wire? or are all leads out of the key switch except the ground hot?

The black is ground, white is connected to ground when the key switch is in the "off" position. That is part of the kill circuit - grounds out the ignition when the key is turned off.
