FE350 CCW Smokes at rev...alot. Many problems

Greetings to all,
This is my first new thread!!! I recently acquired a 1994 Carryall VI. Seller stated that it had set for several years. Kawasaki FE350 CCW motor. Just got it started today. Had many problems, wiring, solenoid, fuel pump, carb, just to name a few. Key start, which was new to me, none the less I got it started. Runs reasonably smooth. Little difficult to start and lots, I mean lots of white smoke at speed faster than idle. No oil dripping from exhaust or other leaks. Gas looks and smells good(a full tank). Also there is a knock at idle from the drive clutch.
Also at idle the belt does not turn. drive clutch is wide open. The belt rides about 3/4 inch from the max. circumference of the driven clutch.

I just finished a 2003 Carryall Turf 2 that I brought home in multiple rubbermaid tubs. I searched many past post and threads to cull information for that build. I found your comments and recommendations to others very helpful. Many thanks for this forum and your patience with us junior members. 2003 T2 shown below

Smoking that much could be a lot of things, but I would think the rings are stuck or it’s sucking oil through a bad head gasket.
