Re: Question on my Alltrax install
There is an inline fuse in the drivers side of the controller/motor bay. A few carts required a bigger (10a) fuse installed when the Alltrax was installed.

Re: Question on my Alltrax install
When I installed my Alltrax a few months ago, I had similar symptoms. I had the diode on the solenoid backwards. I corrected that, and no problems since.

Re: Question on my Alltrax install
Reversed suppression diode can cause a similar problem. In this case he has no diode installed, see pictures posted.

Re: Question on my Alltrax install
No diode installed right now. Checked my 400 amp solenoid buy jumpering to the battery and it clicks so not an actual solenoid problem but something failing to actuate it.

Re: Question on my Alltrax install
For the sake of the archives.
Check the (ignition) fuse from the rear of the cart it is in the harness on the lower left side of the motor bay. |

Re: Question on my Alltrax install
Ok guys just got off the phone with Alltrax. They helped me check the controller with the laptop and the Alltrax is bad. Crap. Now take it apart and send it in to be repaired.

Re: Question on my Alltrax install
I'm sorry to hear that... I was worried once you found the fuse and it was good but, yes the controller does handle half of the solenoid activation circuit so it can shut the cart down if it senses a dangerous situation electrically... Glad they are taking care of this, let me know if I can help

Re: Question on my Alltrax install
Just excited it's figured out. Seemed everything was connected correctly so very confusing. As they say Sh#t happens. :)

Re: Question on my Alltrax install
Yeah. If you make enough of them sooner or later you get a bad one. Most likely they will replace it - very quickly.
