Difference in lift kits
I just recently left my local cart shop. I was there buying a new gasket and before I left I asked him about lift kits and sizes. He showed me a 5" regular lift and a 5" hi lift for my ez-go workhorse. I told him I'd been asking around about lifts and Jake's seemed to be what most people were using and happy with. He told me Jake's were fine but he would recommend Allsport Lifts. Anyone have some info? Pro's and Con's?

Re: Difference in lift kits
They are both good, I would go with the Stretch Plastics, I think it is comparable in price maybe a little more but looks cool. I just couldn't do it on the budget I had. I like your project, it is going to be fun, I have a workhorse and love it...

Re: Difference in lift kits
Creebo,
It really depends on what you want to do with the cart. Are you just looking to make it custom and cruise around the hood or your property. Or do you intend to do some serious off roading? Jakes and Allsports both make a wide variety of lifts for all purposes. I have a Allsports drop axel on the front of my Workhorse and am very happy with it from a reliability and ease of installation standpoint. It was inexpensive and does everything I need it to do. Good luck |

I guess I should have mentioned that too. I have the 5" Allsport drop axle and am very happy with it.
