Interesting fact, the Z1 was actually desighned by Zenon Zapack (Yamaha Golf Car national service manager) in 1994. Back then, Yamaha actually required the distributors and dealers have the techs and service managers attend and pass the training course at there facility in Atlanta. I never ordered the Z2. I used the heck out of "Genius" PDA. The "status" feature helped a lot. When the AC cars came out we went to a lap top. Good luck with your new tool
