Default Re: Alltrax Question

Well I did it, and sure glad it was jacked up.....The throttle was wide open when the pedal wasn’t depressed and off when it was. Got that issue fixed, don’t remember exactly how, and it ran perfectly. After I parked it for a while and got back on it threw a code. “Low Throttle Under Range”. Had to set it back to 0-5k-2 Wire to get it back to normal....

Did you have to switch back to your old settings or are you still using "Absolute Throttle"?

I had to switch it back to make it run so I could park it for the night.

That is a big variation (100% to 70%) and hard to explain unless the potentiometer in that PB-6 box is failing.

Do You have the two throttle wires going straight to the Controller (not through the FNR)?

Does the Key switch only directly activates the Solenoid and not the Controller KSI terminal as well?

If the above answers are 'Yes' and you have access to all three pot box throttle wires (not including the two for the micro-switch), You may want to wire the other pot wire to the Controller B- and change the throttle type to CLub Car 3-wire which is more tolerant to fluctuations.

By the way, the Alltrax instructions for the 'absolute mode' are correct, those are not labels and instead refer to 'functionality', 0-5k and 5k-0 do not apply to a three wire throttle, the correct 'functionality' mode is 0-5v.
