yep something like that. Did you run a piece of wire thru the main jet or just blow it out? They say that you gotta run a wire thru the jet to properly clean it.

Nope, didn't run anything thru it, but checked it with air.

I gotta think its the seals...will test tomorrow...

How much for those seals and grommets, because the motor does shimmy a bit when it runs??? U can email me if you like :

Update: Today I pulled out reed valve assembly and cleaned, looked ok, but some rubber frayed. Went ahead and pulled motor out of cart, removed fuel pump to blow smoke into crankcase and did not see any leaking around crank. The smoke basically just came out from intake and exhaust.
Being that I got the motor out, I ordered new seals and new reed valve assembly. Will probably be asking more questions when I start changing seals.

its not go.na hurt to do the seals since you have the engine out. I would run that wire thru the jet to be sure. I hope you can do that compression check since that will tell youi alot.

Why in the world would we laugh? We like carts, before any of them became what we wanted, they looked like something we didnt want
The cart looks like a good clean canvas. Good luck
