I have the same cart , the first thing I would do is bypass the oiler, I blew up my engine 2 weeks after buying it because the **** oiler went out, complete engine rebuild. just disconnect the hose were it goes into the carg and plug off the hole were the hose mounts

I think I have a bigger problem.
After taking off the faulty hose I capped the carp intake with a cap from a can of spray paint. Surprisingly, it was a perfect fit. I did this because I didn't want to get any water in the carp while I decreased and sprayed off the engine compartment. So far so good.
I spent the whole morning detailing the engine. When I was done, I started the cart to see if everything was still alright....but I forgot to take that cap off the air intake of the carp before I did.
Gas started to gush from the front of the engine. I shut off the engine..realized my mistake..and removed the cap.
It started again but it wasn't happy about it. The clutch still grips but there is a slow leak coming from around the exhaust port...I think.

What did I do? How bad do you think the damage is?

Edit: False alarm, looks like I just flooded it. Ran it a few times and it's running pretty good and no leaks. Still have to do a compression check. I'm only getting about 10 MPH out of it but I have no idea whats the normal speed of this model.

Here she is all cleaned up.
