Nothings Happening????

ok, i changed the silonoid and still nothing. i'm lost i have no qlue what it could be. only thing left is the key Switch with still works the lights or the swith under the floorboard which activated the silonoid. i'm lost help fellas!

Not sure, it may be the micro switch, can you hear the clicking noise when you press down the pedal? The wire that leaves from the microswitch goes to the starter, in which that is what tells it to go. I know not very technical, but I read the boards and figured it out, that was the problem with mine.

yea i hear the micro switch under the floorboard click when i push the gas just nothing after that.

When you push the pedal does electric pass thru the solinoid?

not sure. i dont have a volt meter to test and see. is there another way to check?

What year is your cart? I have a 2001 EZGO with the same problem. If I press the gas about 10 times it will fire up and run.

Yea thats what my son said he had to do to get it to run then it stopped completly. not sure the year.

No i havent got it fixed yet. i tought it might be the silinoid and changed it out and still nothing. not sure what to do now. did you fix yours? if so what was the problem.

I have been told that it could be one of three things...microswitch.....solinoid.....starter. I am going to work on it this afternoon. It sounds like we can rule out the solinoid. Keep me updated and I will do the same.
