Not to Hijack this thread but thanks for the belt info the other day Flint. I have about 2" of belt movement and it's working much better

Mike I am running the 18 hp vanguard. Using the transaxle governor. I am not sure how the engine governor works or is adjusted, any info? thanks

Gphox, Unhook trans gov, take the arm off leave the shaft there it won't hurt anything. Run you stock thottle cable to the throttle cam on the engine like in the pic on page one of this thread
