How much is this cart worth
I've had this '92 Marathon for a couple of years now but I recently purchased a customized '99 TXT for my son who has special needs. The engine is a Robbins EH29C (295cc) I believe and the cart runs great but I have no idea what the market value in California would be for a cart like this so I'm looking for a little input.
Here's a pic of the new cart which he loves! I need to find a way to install a seat belt on this cart in case we get in an accident. Thanks for your help! Mark |

Re: How much is this cart worth
Mark,
Can't help on the value question. they seem to be regional. On the belts, shop the sponsors - there is a set of retractable belts with a bracket for about $100. Also, Wicked carts had a post a few days ago selling a set of standard non retactables for $50. You and the boy need belts. I have a 5 year old that was tossed out of my workhorse, no one rides without belts anymore! Be safe. |

Re: How much is this cart worth
I paid $700 last summer for a similar Marathon here in Washington. Considering the additional back seat & the current season, I'd guess around $1000??

Re: How much is this cart worth
Thanks morepower . . . I would imagine your talking about these?
http://www.everythingcarts.com/p-107...ble-belts.aspx If I mounted this bracket to the front seats, do you think there would be any clearance issues on an '99 TXT? Thanks for the estimated value AirJunky . . . . I'm going to put it on Craigslist today. |

Re: How much is this cart worth
Thanks Scot . . . . one more question for the group. Morepower suggested the seat belts from WickCarts which look like these:
If I went this route, would I still have to purchase a bracket? Keep in mind that I have to buckle my son in. This is the seat brackets on the newer cart: Thanks again |

Re: How much is this cart worth
I cant see the pics Mark but I would say yes, you will need a bracket for the front seats unless you can find a way to mount them?
Whoops, now I can see the pics, but yea, unless you can find a way to mount them without the bracket? You might check with Wicked, I'm sure he's either got the bracket, or a solution. |
