Default gutless

1981 ezgo i know this engine isnt very big ,but is it too much too ask to carry two men up a small hill .or is this just out of the question for a stock 81 with 22 inch tires.

is this 81 a 244cc 2 stroke? they seem to not have a lot of torque, but i've heard getting a 1'' shorter belts helps. the tires are definatly making it worse.

You may have clutch issues? It might not be down shifting for the hill? Is it better if you completely stop at the bottom and try it?

thanks for the help guys .i tweaked the carb a bit and fixed the throttle spring on the carb and she goes pretty good now.tonight it hualed three of us around a muddy feild no problem at all.
