the 2 keys thing, i wouldnt worry about. if one tuns it on, on the dash, it should look like a t, with a simple cut towards the top, or the "t" part. and if yo have another key some one i assumed put another key switch on to deter the fact anyone with 3 bucks can buy a cc key and have a free buggy.
if it was back firing after you adjust the carb and cleaned the carb, i would to suggest reseting all the cables and the carb to factory settings. someone could have played with them to get it to go faster! all is good, if you can handle it and do it coorectly. and keep it below the 4k threshold. i will see if i can find the link on here on how to set it back.
bring on lists! some of us like them some of us hate them, but you will get a anwser in some form or fashion. after all we all are going wild!

I have a g2 with a chirping drive belt. I removed drive belt and ran engine and the noise stopped so I figure it's not the starter belt. After wasting $35 on new belt, I did some research on belts and found that chirping is usually caused by misaligned pulleys. Noticed that one of the buttons is missing on my driven. My question is, do you think that the missing button could cause the misalignment and the chirping?
