Default Crankshaft Seal Problem

Thanks you guys on helping me find my problem earlier (86 gas Ezgo engine will not run). I replace the crankshaft seal. When I started it up and pressed on the gas it was running fine. When I let off the gas, I heard a pop once again. I took it apart again and it was the seal "blown" out again. Any idea what is casing this?

Was it new seal or did you replace the old one?

I did not put in the same one that blew out the first time. However, when I overhauled the engine about a year ago I replaced both seals on the crankshaft. So when the seal blew out I replaced it with one that I had previously taken out. It looked like it was in good shape, not out of round or worn.

Thanks for the info TEAMRMS. My compression was 125, so I guess that is good. It seems to be running as good as new again. Thanks for your help everyone.
