won't start in reverse
can anyone help me. i have 89 marathon 2 stroke that will not
start in reverse. if you fidle with the forward-reverse it will start so i took the panel off and took off my micro switch that i believe is for reverse and it started right up in reverse it was all bent up. so my question is can i leave it out? and what does it do? |

I bypassed mine. It just stops you from changing direction while the pedal is pushed down. As long as you're careful you dont need it.

I think I just ran the wire from the accelerator microswitch to the solenoid instead of to the FNR microswitch...
