Re: G1 almost there!
Could not stand the look of the oem front so had to change it up a little. Still got a lot to do before camp season. Got to put roof on. Had 4 inch lift and 22s but does not seem to fit around running boards so I guess I will have to make it higher next winter.

Great looking cart, are the diamond plate floor boards custom or a kit I would like them for my 1980 G1

Re: G1 almost there!
That's quite a transformation alright. Real nice. I'm assuming you made the diamond plate bends with a sheet metal press/brake? The bends look really tight and even in the pictures. In particular on the bumpers.

Re: G1 almost there!
hey haus was just curious how you went about molding that front end. I know you should never ask a magician how he does it but thought i would try anyways

Re: G1 almost there!
Blowncustoms it was molded with Tylenol and alot of liquid stupidity Just kidding.... but it involved alot of beer and fiber glass. I will try to find the SD card from our camera and get some pics up.

Re: G1 almost there!
I had some step by step pictures but still got to find that SD card. I cut out the old cup holders to put in new boat ones because the original idea was my buddy was going to spray a candy orange paint down on the cart and I did not want the beers tearing up the paint... Then I realized I'm going to ride this and muff it up anyway so bump the candy on this cart.
