Overheating
On long trips of 1/2 mile or more, even at moderate speeds I think the engine is overheating. It doesn't stall when running. But If I pull over a stop it is a bitch getting going again, like vapor lock and the engine smells hot. All the shrouds are in place, everything working. I want to get this solved before changing the governor.
I can add an inline fan but is there a batter way to prevent heat? |

Re: Overheating
Make sure the engine is clean under the shrouds. Sometimes dirt, mud, grass will clog the fins on the engine and air can't pass through.

Re: Overheating
For some strange reason, mice just love to make their winter nests in shrouded air cooled engines. You might want to see if some "eviction" is in order.
