Default How wide with a lift and knobbies?

How wide is your cart (outside wheel base) with 6" lift and 10 or 12" wheels and tires? I'm wondering if my cart I hope to buy this week will fit in the bed of my F-150. I am positive that I will have to lower the gate, now I'm worried that the width will be too much.

The front of this one is 44" outside to outside. The rear is 48". It has 23" x 7" on 10" carlisle's on it. The wheels are 7" wide, 3" inside and 4" outside. The Jakes lift makes the front 1" wider, and 1" longer wheel base.

OOPs! forget picture! Not a good one, but maybe you can see how far they stick out past the wheel wells.

Thanks Mike - So 52 in the front and 56" wide on the rear would be the widest point? That will still fit in the back of the truck. I'd just have to drive it over the wheel wells.

No, mine should go between the wheel wells on my pick-up, if I put it in front ways. And just fit between if I would back it in. Outside to outside front, is 44"

It would bother me to drive it into the back of a truck to start with. Now trying to drive over those wheel wells of your truck with the rear cart wheels still on those dog shi! ramps, I think would be sueiside

Gotcha! Thanks again for the response. I don't want to put it in the back of the truck, but I trailer my boat back and forth to the lake so it's the only way for me to get it there. I have a camper shell and will have to either take that off or the top off the cart to get it in the truck. I'm thinking the top of the cart will come off before the trips to the lake, back on when we get home. Or maybe a shorty windshield. So many options... I will have to start by buying the cart first. Hopefully tomorrow it happens.
