Default Need help in how to post pictures of problems !

I just posted a message to get help starting a 96 EZGO gas workhorse and was trying to post a diagram and pictures showing a wire that we don't know where to connect it to and was trying to post pictures, but it didn't work.

I usually just copy and paste in emails, but that doesn't seem to work here...

HELP !!

Thank you !!

When you post a reply here, scroll down below the text box and click "Manage Attachments." Choose your file and wait for it to upload. After you have all the ones uploaded that you want, just submit the message and they will come up as thumbnails in the post.

He is right, I tried it and sure enough a thumbnail in my post. I still don't see how it solves your problem.

Dave, from the looks of your avatar, I figured your thumb would still have some blood on it!

Thank you for the instructions on posting the pictures !!

Now maybe someone can PLEASE HELP !!

From many of the posts we've already read, I think we may need to do more cleaning up of this cart. As I said before, Conrad replaced the fuse box and all new fuses are in, new air filter, solenoid and voltage regulator. After getting the diagram, he still can't figure out what to do with that white wire. It was hard to define, so that's the reason for the towel underneath it.

This is our first cart. We plan to use it on our horse ranch here... we're in the foothills of California and an hour from Sacramento. Getting parts takes a while if we have to order them. The terrain here is sloping and somewhat rocky. He has a tractor, but I wanted something I could drive around on and use for maintenance etc.

Any help you guys can give us is MOST APPRECIATED !!

That wire goes to an oil pressure sensor. Some carts had a lamp on the dashboard and some didn't. Does yours? If not then you have two choices.

1. Forget the wire.
2. Place a lamp on the dashboard, connect one side to a 12 volt switched line (from the ignition switch) and connect the other side to that white wire.

Does that help?

Dave.. thank you !!

No, there are no lights on the dash... here is a picture of the front dash and the other controls on the opposite side below the seat. I think Conrad will just follow your suggestion and forget about that wire.

Any idea though on why it won't start ???

Good plan, now let's try to keep all the info in one place. I will go over to your other thread and start the ball rolling.
