Have you checked your battery? Should read at least 12.5 volts. Ground cables? All wires should be firmly attached.

Welcome BLUE SPRINGS MO over here in Lebanon Il. been there many times and for members that hasn't YOUR MISSING OUT OK that said sounds like the battery is low or bad connection. I would look at the f/r switch. Spray contact cleaner and move it back and forward several times and blow it out with compressed air then repeat may be that the contacts are dirty. Also put a charger on the battery over night get a full charge then try it Is all the grounds clean. Not only the battery but battery to frame and the cable or strap to the engine???? Important to make sure all are clean and secure if not your engine is going to try to find ground some where other than where it's needed. Get back with us K ?

Disconnect the positive wire to battery. Now, spin or turn the drive clutch manually. Do you feel strong resistance? If so, there is possibility that internal parts of the engine (piston and connecting rod) could be broken/damaged.

I would almost think since he bypassed the solenoid and gets the engine to crank, he may have a solenoid trigger wire going bad.

after a couple of hours and beers!!! Did trace the problem down it was not low battery, bad or loose ground, internal engine problems and dirty switch. It turned out to be broken wire. That Little black wire from the ground at F/R switch going to soleniod, broke inside go figure. Thanks to all for help, this is one for the books.
