2 stroke fuel pump
Hi Guys new to the forum. I am working on an 86 2 stroke and have ordered an new fuel pump, but I had a weird thought and wanted some opinions on it. Could you take a bulb type pump from a boat and use it temporarly on a golf cart. I'm thinking it would work. Any thoughts?

Re: 2 stroke fuel pump
that won't except to prime your new pump. the pump works by using the pulsing of the crankcase pressure, and you would have to keep sqeezing a hand pump contiually. but then maybe can use it as an exersize device.

Re: 2 stroke fuel pump
I just thought that the bulb type would retain enough pressure to keep the float bowel filled because it is a low pressure system.

No, it will suck air in the carb vent not gas.
