Default 1968 wiring diagram help

Picked up a basket case 68 gas. Did not have a battery and previous owner has disconnected wiring. What voltage did this cart use and any one have a wiring diagram.

Wow!That's one old little skeeter!I'm not sure of the voltage on it, but if it's a two stroke it would probably resemble my 88 vaguely.

This will probably give you an idea of where to start.

Scroll down some and there will be a wiring diagram.Keep in mind that its for newer stuff, but it might be a help to you.

Thanks for the info not sure how much compares since the generator is inside the motor but it will give me a start. This might be a bigger project than I thought!

Okay i finally took some pics but now I have more questions So in the second picture where the arrows are they have connected the battery cable and a cable that goes to a control box in third pic. But the lug where the question mark is has no wires. the throttle control is also not hooked to any thing. In 1fast67's pic of the f/rcontrol I see those two bolts empty but the ? has a wire to it. Can we make any sense out of this?

I almost put you on the wrong track entirely.I hope I edited this in time.Anyhow, that diagram up there shows that wire going from the solenoid to your mystery terminal.Take a good look at that diagram.I'm sure you can rewire the whole cart with just that. And some wire of course ;)
