Question Air Shocks For Ruff and Tuff

I bought a used 2003 Ruff and Tuff electric cart. It has leaf springs front and rear and rides Ruff and Tuff. I was thinking of removing 2 of the three leafs front and rear to get a softer ride, since I use it for hunting. I wanted to replace the original shocks with air shocks that I could air up when carrying a load. Has anyone done anything like this? If so, what shocks did you use? I have seen where others say automotive shocks are too much for carts.
