Anyone use Pod style filters on carts?
So I recently got a G22 (build thread coming once I get some parts) and I don't have an airbox. I was thinking about just attaching a pod style filter to the intake tube. Does anyone use a setup like this? I assume the airbox in these is somewhat restrictive, but maybe the exposure to dirt and dust and debris would make a pod style filter less than ideal? Also, how picky are these carbs? Would I need to re-jet if I switched to this style of intake?
Thanks! I will have my build thread started next week when parts start arriving. I know nobody likes a build thread without progress!! |

Line, I personally think the open element filter is to noisy, get dirty to quick and doesn't filter well. You will have to rejet as well.
And... You better!!... |
