Default G1 again...

Ok guys, neighbor is working on a G1. It keeps flooding out and not running. good fuel pressure, good spark. Carb was cleaned and reinstalled. Unsure of what to check now. Any help is appreciated Cart runs on premix...

Check all these...

Compression, at least 90#.

Fuel mixed no heavier than 70:1. Should be at least 100:1.

When you say fuel pressure, what do you mean? With the stock pulse pump, it has minimal pressure and little flow.

Carb float is set correctly.

Reed cage is closing properly. Any pressure coming out of the carb inlet when cranking?

New B&S fuel pump. Has great flow to carb.

Needle and seat are not dirty. The whole carb was just rebuilt...

ya might try lowering the float level, make sure the float don't have a hole in it also.

Had the same problem
Take a look at the bottom of the carb where the bolt goes through the float bowl
The bottom of mine was ate up and it was sucking fuel between the bottom and the bowl
