Can you guys clarify for me..... On the F-N-R controller, which switch is the Neutral Limit Switch and which is the Reverse Warning Switch? And I assume the Accelerator Limit Switch is the switch connected to the gas pedal?

Update: Ok, I'm pretty sure I got the wiring straightened out. The solenoid now 'clicks', but the starter isn't turning over. When the gas pedal is pressed I get 12V from the 'A' pole on the solenoid to the F1 & F2 poles on the starter (when in the F position). The battery is reading 12.67 volts, which is a little low, so I have the charger on it.

What am I missing.....?

When you press the pedal in forward, and get the click, check for 12 volts between the F2 and A1 terminals on the starter/generator. F2 is + and A1 is -.
When in reverse, check between F2 and A2. A2 is -.

OK, check between F1 and A1, then A2 and A1 when pressing the pedal.

OK, it looks like either the FWD/REV switch is wired incorrectly, or there are bad/dirty contacts inside the switch . They can be cleaned up if they aren't too bad.

First, check the wiring to the switch to see if it matches the diagram.

If it does...
Disconnect the battery.
Label the wires going to the switch and remove them from the switch.
Disassemble the switch and see if you can clean up the contacts.

I've checked continuity on the F-N-R switch and it's appears to be OK. Let me double check the wiring. I 'think' I got it right from the diagram...... Thanks for your help!

Just keep in mind that the continuity may check good with a meter, but when you start pulling current through it, it may not be an adequate enough connection to transfer the current.

:-( It worked before I took the body panels off.... (lol) I didn't mess with the big wires on the F-N-R switch, and I've doubled checked the wires to the micro switches. How delicate is the F-N-R switch to take a part and clean up?
