worn drive clutch
Posted on wrong forum...here goes again. I just disassembled the drive clutch on my '91 Marathon. It is worn weight that are sloppy on the bolt axles. Is there a rebuild kit for such a repair or should I not mess around and just think Comet. I could use the advice from someone who has been there.

Re: worn drive clutch
My 91 had a totally worn out drive clutch that actually had holes warn into the sides so Just went with a brand new one and all is well. Nothing worse than playing around trying to make something work and having it fail on a trail or your only good weekend camping. Nice to know that with all the other money spent to get a nice looking lifted cart, you have a new clutch. My view anyway. I did however replace the driven clutch spring with a high torq one and new buttons.
It is way better with low end now. |
