Ezgo workhorse runs good then starts to sputter and run bad

Is it popping back through the carb or exhaust? Maybe the timing belt slipped a little?

Carb popping then it cleans out and runs fine

OK update. Compression test shows 90 lbs in both cylinders

I checked to compression. Its 90# in each cylinder
