I just blew out the lines and the tank bubbled fine and line with the filter flowed fine as well. so am I right to look at the fuel pump? I never see gas really in the filter. It's always dry, it didn't hold fuel.

Ok so the cart ran kind of. It puked around the house on idle. It won't run on reverse, and it never actually feels like it runs. It just sputters along.

After having the fuel system apart, did you fill the lines with fuel before putting it back together? The pump is not strong enough to prime the lines by itself.

No I didn't, but it sputtered around my house the Times. Could it still be a problem? Should I pull the inlet and turn the motor over?

Why do you think it didn't fire in reverse?

It's like the gas pedal isn't connected to the actual throttle.

I would remove the hose from the tank and fill the hose with fuel.

Let's get it running in forward before we add to the complication.

It's like the gas pedal isn't connected to the actual throttle.

Primed the lines and turned the motor over and nothing changed. It still will kind of run, but it never goes full speed. Its almost like it is stuck at idle.

Have you disconnected the fuel line from the carb and cranked the motor to see if the pump is working?
