Default g16 drive clutch

I have one weight jumping out and locking the clutch in closed position. All rollers that ride against the weights have flat spots. Are these flat spots normal.

No. You can get a new roller pin kit (3 steel rollers and 3 steel pins) from site sponsor www.cartpartsplus.com You might as well order the primary sheave puller also!

Once clutch assy is off, put the fixed sheave into a good vise. Since you don't have the "special" tool for unscrewing the "spider', you can heat he spider/fixed sheave threads with a propane torch (to loosen the loctite) and use a pipe wrench to unscrew it "counter clockwise". Clean everthing up and reinstall.
