G9 rear seat questions
I have a G9 and as most know, the rear seats are made of solid gold on these things. Does anyone know what the difference between the newer models and the G9 is? I'm assuming the mounting points are different but I can't understand why the G9 rear seat would be half again more expensive than the newer models

Re: G9 rear seat questions
Possibly more parts, and they don't sell as many.

Re: G9 rear seat questions
Seems legit... However, it's ridiculous that the G2-9 seat costs $5-600 and the others are $250-350. There can't be that much of a difference. Good old supply and demand.

Re: G9 rear seat questions
The 250-350 seats are mostly steel imports and they building current models. The 500-600 seats are made in the USA and are aluminum with much better cushions.
Not enough sales on the g9 to order a container full or mass produce them here for better price |

Re: G9 rear seat questions
I can weld and actually have mad machining skills. However, I work 90-100 hours a week and on my weekends the last thing I want to do is start another project. I would rather just buy one and put it on but I'm also cheap... That presents a whole other set of problems.

Re: G9 rear seat questions
Kinda depends on what seat assy your thinking of. Do you want a "stationary seat" or a "hinged seat/flatbed" style?
