gas leaking from carb
I have a 1988 kd82 and gas leak all the time from carb even when sitting still with motor not running.

Does it run fine otherwise? Where is the gas coming from? Float bowl?

just rebuilt the engine and i do not have the air filter box on it and fuel comes out of the front of carb. It does fire but afraid to run it with all the fuel coming out of it.

Sounds like the float is stuck

thanks I will pull carb back off tonight and check it out it did not leak like this when I pulled it off maybe did it while I had it on work bench it did turn over on its side could have done it then.

Thanks for the help mpulled carb off removed bowl and somehow the pin that hold the float had came out replaced float and now run fine.
