Those are the chassis id numbers. Yours is a 1980 according to the numbers provided.

There have been so many G1's out there pieced together that it's possible that your engine year does not match the chassis year. Many were owned and operated by golf courses and got ran hard and parts were robbed from one to another many times over. You just never know what you're gonna get with a G1.

Also dont forget that for some unknown reason,people give carts a model-year,without any info.My favorite is "Its identical to my buddies,his is a 19**,so mine is too". Each model has it's own characteristics,but remain mostly identical thru their model run-time.Hope this helps.
