Default UPDATE what I thought was a fuel problem

Hey guys,
So to recap I ran the cart out of gas a while back and since then it has never ran correctly even after carb cleaning and replacing all lines.

Over the weekend I was messing with the cart and I wiggled the two wires that plug onto the coil and low and behold she jumped to life and will run the clutches all the way out (in neutral). YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's running great again!!!

Drove to my mothers house...maybe a mile and a half. Ran fine. Visited roughly 1 1/2 hours. When I left her house roughly half a mile in to going home it felt like someone threw an anchor and you could feel the power drop. Can my 2 month old coil be going bad?? Now I feel like maybe it's been a electrical problem the whole time. Oh and I almost forgot, when I was wiggling the two wires that plug into the coil and spark plug wires I toughed the motor with my finger and got a slight shock. Loose ground? Any ideas?

Thanks for all the help with this cart guys!

If you were having weak spark issues it could have fouled a plug. Change them both and see if that helps.

Hey KG,

I actually put new plugs in right before I went on my ride to my mothers place. Brand new NGK plugs gapped to spec.

I think I have ran down the culprit. My "new" coil does things it's not supposed to do!
