TXT Engine RPM
I have a 2014 Ez-Go TXT. Wanting to get a bit more speed out of it. How much can I speed the engine up to do this and still have the engine live? Most operation is on the course but do have a mile and a half run from the club house to home. I do have a digital tach so can get the RPM accurate. Have gone to oversize wheels and tire so get a bit extra there.

Re: TXT Engine RPM
I believe the stock motor reachs about 34-3600rpm, that's the sweet spot for most all small 4 strokes. It can reach 4200 but, you do not want to hold it there for long.

Re: TXT Engine RPM
A lot of members stick around the 4000 range and be careful going down slopes avoid holding it wide open on long down hill runs that where most people get in trouble

Re: TXT Engine RPM
Thanks for the info. Will check where it is set now and adjust accordingly with caution
