Default Carb adjustment / Bogged down cart

Looking for a link to a carb adjustment thread for old 82 ezgo marathon with Robin 244 EC25-2PG engine. For beginners.

Doesnt have to be model based but just a general description to understand what is going on before i start turning things lol

Asking because i have a brand new carb on a fresh top end rebuild and the cart is really bogged down. The low end power is quick to shut off and not much speed control

Might be cause i am running 40:1 mix for the first couple liters ?

Also raised cart 4". When does a carb float adjustment come into play ?

Any help would be great. Thanks

Beav

Read your thread from 2015. It's the same answer. There is no real carb adjustment. You need a spring on the end of your throttle cable. http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/gas-e...s-86-ezgo.html

Spark plug is brand new. And i was referring to carb adjustments as far as the screws for pilot and main ?? Does that make sense ?

Start at page J-6 of the manual. Pay special attention to the last sentence in the first paragraph.
