Default Express L6 in a long bed?

any chance I can get all 4 wheels of my 2017 Express L6 in a full-size long bed truck with the tailgate down? if some of it is hanging out the back, would be acceptable. Just need the wheels supported for trips down to the beach.

I don't think you'll get all four wheels in an 8 foot long bed. Mine is right at 12' total length including the back seat pan and I know my rear wheels are not 4 feet ahead of the seat pan. You can always measure first, but I feel you may be disappointed.

yeah, i figure it's close. 8' of bed, 18-24" of tailgate. obviously, don't need the full 12' to get the center of the rear axle over something supported..

i measured about 9"3" from extreme front to center of rear axle..

Sounds like a job for a 5x12 trailer.

These are spendy ramps but it may be what you need to make it work https://madramps.com/

watched the video. looks like the rear wheels get on the ramp before the front are past the tipping point. im thinking in my head that the front wheels may tip the ramps before the rear wheels get on them.

I see what your yours saying but they have a little extension called pivit stops so if could get them out once the front wheels are in the bed and could slide then out you may be able to make it work also I have no affiliation with this company just inputting my two cents

An Express S6 has a 96" wheel base so there goes the 8 ft of bed and you will probably need another foot and a half for the nose. If you got tailgate supports you might be able to pull it off but see issues with the propane bottles and jack on the front of the camper.
