Posi-traction ---Yes/No
Just finished repairing the brakes on my 1999 ezgo txt so I thought I would test them while the cart was still on the jack stands. I ran the motor and applied the brakes. All was OK. But I noticed that only the right rear drum was turning with power. The left rear was barely rotating with not near the rotation rpm's that the right rear was rotating. Now to my question: Do golf carts have power to only one wheel or to both rear wheels? Does the rear end have traction clutches in order to apply power to both wheels? I'm curious.

Stock they are open differentials just like a car. Some models can be retrofitted with a limited slip differential.

Yup they are "one wheel wonders" that's why they aren't very good in snow or mud
