Don't take anything out yet. Check for voltage at the key switch first. One meter probe on battery negative, and other probe on key switch. Turn key on and off check other side. If you have voltage at the key there are two microswitches in line before the solenoid. One is down low. The other is on the passenger side of the forward reverse switch. Check for power at the small terminal of the solenoid too.

On the cart is fine if you can reach power off.

Power at the black wire on ignition switch always. Not on red, on or off, pedal pressed and not.

Sounds like the key switch is bad.

There are two things you can do.
1) Disconnect the battery. Set your meter to ohms. Put the meter probes on the two terminals on the back of the switch. Key off should be an open circuit. Key on should show continuity. If not, it's a bad switch.

2) Battery connected. Connect the wires at the back of the switch together. Step on the pedal. Cart should turn over, and start.

Do you have a third wire on your switch? It should be on the hot side, and connect to a microswitch located on the driver side of the forward reverse switch. It controls the backup buzzer. It might not be there. A lot of people disconnect it.

2 prong. Headed to check it now. How far does the key turn? I feel like mine doesn't turn enough. It's like 25 degrees. I found the buzzer wire, it tapped the voltage regulator and started buzzing.

The buzzer will have 2 wires. One connects to the hot side of the switch, and the other goes to ground. It sounds like the ground wire is flopping loose. Touching the voltage regulator completed the circuit by grounding it. This has nothing to do with not starting.

The key switch does have 2 prongs, but there should be three wires. The hot feed from the battery should be connected to the same terminal that feeds the buzzer.

The output terminal of the key switch should be connected to one of the microswitches. The diagram shows it going to the neutral safety switch first then down to the pedal switch.

The neutral safety switch is the microswitch located on the passenger side of the forward reverse switch (FnR switch).

Nailed it. Hot rodding around after jumping the switch. Thank you guys very much. This forum is pretty good, no petty fighting, just solid help!
