Re: Help with a 1993 Yamaha G8 gas golf cart
Sorry guys about not replying back so soon had illness in family. But here's were we are at with the cart, I got the golfcart to run by unplugging the voltage regulator. I bought a new one plugged it up and it wouldn't fire with it either so I unplugged it. Not sure what's going to there. But got it running and bought a new primary clutch assembly now the primary clutch assembly and secondary clutch assembly will not engage. The golfcart just sits there and the belt spins. So I'm in deep guys! I need a shovel.

Thanks for replying back. Yeah, it's engaging all the way. I took my hands and moved the lever back and forth to make sure.

The new primary clutch I noticed isn't fully spreading to tighten belt. I bought one of those new replacement clutches. Its stiff as heck!

Re: Help with a 1993 Yamaha G8 gas golf cart
I'd bet it is something silly, it usually is. I don't mind taking a look at it, i'm not far from you. I have to go into Jacksonville tomorrow for work so will be driving right past you. I should have some time on my way back home tomorrow, probably early afternoon if you'll be around.
