Wasn't so hard was it ? I would guess most G 14-16 owners have had to fix someone else's mishandling. Probably people trying to lift up the cart by this somewhat easily bent piece. Also noticed your cart has the transaxle input shaft spacer installed along with later style replacement muffler.Also see by the transaxle it is a 1995 G14 which is my favorite.

It was not hard at all
One hand on sledge
One hand on arm to keep it from twisting.
