Default G14 clutch engaging issues

Hey everyone

First time poster. Late last year I purchased a g14 was in pretty bad condition had it resprayed new seat covers and few other bits and pieces. The clutch had a hole in the outer casing so I replaced both clutches on it. The problem I have now is when I take off In forward and reverse the tyres spin off take off. Can someone please steer me in the right direction. Thanks

Did you get an aftermarket comet style clutch or an oem flyweight style clutch?

It sounds to me like the primary clutch is probably being held open too long, and not engaging until the engine hits a higher RPM. Can you put it into neutral and start and rev the engine so we can see the clutches operate?

I also forgot to mention when I drive the cart it sometimes makes weird noises from the clutch side of the motor but only while driving it.

It also sounds and feels like when a bearing needs replacing on a alternator on the car. I have checked the starter/generator it spins freely without the belt and makes no sound or has no play.

Could it be a faulty new primary clutch. I have greased the secondary clutch but the primary has no grease nipple.

Replaced primary clutch with one off another cart and worked fine. Might have to try get my new one replaced.
