Default G9 won’t go up hills

I have a old G9 it will go up some hills but if you stop on one or go up a big one it will stop and squeal it looks like the back clutch

Looks like the little snap ring broke. It goes between the helix and the trans. Once you get it off, you can install a spacer that goes in there instead.

It looks like the place where the buttons go is worn out could the clutch be slipping?

Yeah you probably have several things going on there. Those parts do wear over time. The condition of your belt is important too. But if that snap ring is broken there won't be enough pressure on the belt for the secondary to operate properly.

If the clutches are old, it's probably time to replace them. I'd recommend the Plowman's kit.
