Radio Installation Question
First, I love the forum - great information.
I have a 98 EZ Go 36 volt. I am installing an in-dash Pioneer radio/cd player (fits right in where ball rack is). I have a wiring question. The radio has 3 main wires in harness (red - power source, black - ground, yellow - says attach to "ignition switch"). I am not an electrical guru and want to make this as simple as possible and hook directly to battery. How do I hook it up? What does red wire hook to (positive terminal)? Yellow? Black? (do I ground it or hook to a negative terminal)? If any of you experienced electricians could give me a simple connection breakdown I think I can complete the install. I just want to be sure. Any advice would be greatly appreciate. Thank you Tom beuglas4@comcast.net |

Re: Radio Installation Question
I think I found my answer on another thread.
Red and yellow are power sources and go to a positive terminal, black goes to negative on next battery in series. Doesnt matter which batteries in series as long as they are connected by a cable. Is that correct? |
